My World Gay.0

Lesbians of the world, do not be afraid, Justin Beiber is NOT one of you. Once in a while (ok, more like everyday), a blog debuts that blows my mind so far out of the field I can't not love it. CRTL+W33D, SCAB, Boys + Cats, Awkward Boners...I can't believe such thoughts even exist. And I'm totally jealous. It seems that more and more weird as fuck queer blogs keep popping up, Lesbians Who Look Like Justin Beiber being no exception, but more like a welcome addition to a growing family of crazy. Love it.

Sometimes a bitch just has to be happy

What did I listen to looking at pics of not-Justin Beiber:

Death Metal Disco Scene - I Wanna Dance With Somebody

SNSD - Show Show Show (Robotaki Remix)

I Can't Sleep

So here is a picture of me jamming out on a light up tambourine at Korean karaoke...

January has been a shitty month. All the shits happen in January. It's cold, the number of crazies who've stumbled in to work far outweigh the cute and fun people, and to top things off, I need to go to the dentist. Sometimes I hate my life. But I find myself at 6:20am bored out of my mind and playing music way too loud. The one good thing about this year so far? The jams. January and so far February have brought back bands who've either been gone too long or are finally hitting their stride.

Staygold - Backseat (ft. Spank Rock, Damien Adore & Lady Tigra)

Staygold have released their single entitled "Backseat" and it's a romper. Spank Rock drops by to drop a few bars and LADY TIGRA does backups and other random chants. It's just real good to hear her doing stuff. L'Trimm needs to do some reunion shows. Anyways, this song is like eating Nerds Rope.

Lo-Fi-Fnk - Marchin' In

Lo-Fi-Fnk fans rejoice! A song has become available from their forthcoming sophomore album in 2010. Therefore we can dance AND look at cute Swedes. Conundrum solved.

Mapei - Public Enemy (ft. Spank Rock)

Spank Rock is everywhere these days yeah? After their booty poppin' EP with Benny Blanco, Spank Rock has been all over the place guesting on tracks and whatever. Mapei recently released her digital EP "Cocoa Butter Diaries" on iTunes (produced by DJ Mehdi), and dropped this song all over my ass. She has also made appearances for Major Lazer and has scored herself a deal with Downtown Records (Kid Sister, Spank Rock, Justice, Mos Def). Goddamn.

SNSD - Show Show Show

SNSD released a new album recently, and through my lack of words, you can tell I'm not all that excited about it. Out of 12 songs, 3 have already been released, there is 1 subpar single, and some bad ballads. But the 1 shining saviour of the album? The house influenced pop ditty "Show Show Show". Really, any of the singers could be interchangeable at this point, but the main focus for me is whoever produced the fuck out of this song. As a genre, video game house mixes need to debut in 2010.

Video Crazy

I don't know what chemical got released into the air, but this week (and we're only 3 days in) has already topped the crazy chart. Learn how to strengthen your buttocks, watch 9 grown women act like sophomores in public high, and the first offense Sweden has ever pulled on music.

Ladyboyz

There is nothing I love more in life than normal people who have something a little off about them. My manager Patrick is a cool guy but he has a real wacky sense of humor and can keep up with my weirdo obscure music tastes. My other friend Pauline loves writing songs on guitar but doesn't know how to play the guitar (she's in a band with me anyways). So it comes to my great pleasure while YouTubing throughout the day that I found an all Thai Ladyboy dance troupe covering my favorite girl group to fag out over: So Nyuh Shi Dae aka SNSD aka Girls' Generation. AKA they're all the same person and I believe everyone has at least a first name (If not, they're last name is all "Kim" and they are now part of my family). Anyways, the songs are pure pop. Just in a different language. There is definately some hip-hop/electronic influences coming through. And their songs have set off a trend of phags getting their choreographed dance on with other phags. Was that SNSD's intention? For gay dance groups to take over the world? I like it so far. Can't wait for the next single.

Shake your butt to the originals cause you won't have a clue what they're saying and it doesn't even matter:

SNSD - Sowoneul Malhaebwa (Genie)

SNSD - Gee

Also, to the girl named "Sunny": I am so gunning for your position girl, get it.
